How to reach us?

Due to roadworks, a temporary traffic regulation and detour routes to the park are in effect.

Umag, Novigrad

Drive to Tar. At the second roundabout, follow signs for Vabriga. Pass through Vabriga and continue on a short stretch of unpaved (white) road. You will reach the roundabout in front of the park; then enter the park.

Poreč, Vrsar

Go via Gedići to Tar, then continue towards Vabriga and follow the directions as for Umag/Novigrad.

Trst, Koper

If you are coming from Italy (Trieste) or Slovenia (Koper), after entering Croatia take the Istrian Y (Istarski ipsilon) to the Novigrad exit, pass through Novigrad, then Tar, and after 500 m you will see us on the left.
NOTE 2025: the detour goes via Vabriga.

Pula, Rovinj

Take the Istrian Y (Istarski ipsilon) to the Višnjan exit, then follow Labinci - Tar.
NOTE 2025: the detour goes via Vabriga.

Rijeka

If you are coming from Rijeka, the simplest route is the Istrian Y via Kanfanar to the Višnjan exit.
NOTE 2025: use the Višnjan exit; detour via Vabriga.
